– three ‘Hot Features’ to implement now

We have seen great success around our partner network for those that have focused on the following areas. If you’re not currently doing so, we recommend that you consider these to also benefit from such results!

Hot jobs
By introducing “hot jobs” on their job site publishers will get the following benefits: -

Increased revenue streams Ads that are already sold to advertisers can be “up-sold” as hot jobs for additional display on prime exposure locations. The “hot job” display will normally be active for at shorter period (typically one week) compared to the overall online activation period.

Increased ad response Exposure of job ads on prime areas of the site will generate increased responses through views – and thereby also increased applications. The view-to-application conversion rate may, however, be lower compared to ad views from a search result list.

The site is perceived as more ‘up-to-date’ The display of hot jobs should include company logos to make the job board more lively and up-to-date – and therefore be more attractive to job seekers.

Company profiles
Job seekers are today using various sources of information to help to define their career path, get prepared for new job applications and for recruitment interviews.

By introducing “Company Profiles” on their site publishers can give their advertisers additional image exposure and boost brand awareness, plus job seekers can get detailed information on relevant companies/businesses in a fast and intuitive manner.

The benefits to the publisher are: -

Increased revenue streams Company profiles are sold to advertisers as additional displays on prime exposure areas of the site. The company profiles can also include the display of “other jobs at this company”.

Increased ad response Exposure of company profiles will stimulate increased response to job ads through views – and applications will increase correspondingly.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Publishers will benefit in many ways by modifying job sites to make the content more accessible to search engines.

It is, however, important to be aware of the two basic conditions for obtaining a higher ranking on search engines:

  • Site structure and site content accessibility
  • Relevant and updated content on the site

The first condition can be handled by MatchWork technology, but the second requires the involvement and commitment of the publisher.

The benefits of SEO include:

Targeted Traffic Increase the number of visitors who are actively searching for the information which you are providing.

Promotion that doesn't sleep Imagine having your own marketing and promotions company working exclusively just for you! One that works 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days every year. That's the benefit of SEO which is now among the most cost-effective ways of marketing.

Increase brand visibility Your brand can get a high international profile – for a comparatively low outlay.

High ROI Pound for pound, dollar for dollar, designing your web site for search engine optimisation brings you a higher ROI than any comparable form of marketing.

Higher Sales SEO can mean increased traffic to your site which again means higher exposure of your content, jobs, etc and thereby a reason to charge a higher price.

Increased usability Observing basic optimisation guidelines can make your site more accessible and mean that visitors have a more pleasant user experience.

So, remember – ‘Hot Jobs’, ‘Company Profiles’ and ‘SEO’ should be high on your development agenda. Please contact your local MatchWork sales office to discuss these further.
